Akio Takahashi is a Japanese patent attorney. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in physics from the University of Tokyo and began his career at Canon Inc. as a patent engineer, specializing in display devices. He joined Global IP Tokyo in 2009 and passed the U.S. patent agent exam in 2010. He handles the preparation of patent applications in the mechanical and electrical fields.
He joined GLOBAL IP Counselors, LLP as a trainee in 2011 and handles patent applications from the Japanese companies. He is a member of the Japanese Patent Attorney's Association.
