Joseph J. Buczynski is a U.S. patent attorney whose career in intellectual property law spans over twenty years, and focuses on electrical, mechanical, biomedical, computer software, Internet and telecommunications technologies. His practice involves all aspects related to preparing and prosecuting patent applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and in international and foreign jurisdictions, as well as post-issuance patent matters such as validity, enforceability and infringement, technology licensing, patent portfolio analysis and patent litigation. Mr. Buczynski also frequently conducts intellectual property lectures in Japan. Mr. Buczynski received his J.D. degree from George Washington University and his bachelor's degree, cum laude, in electrical engineering from Wilkes University. Before entering private practice, Mr. Buczynski was an electrical engineer for Loral Control Systems. Mr. Buczynski is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, Maryland, the District of Columbia and before the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. He is also registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association.
